Former bandmate(FreeRange) and artist/provoceteur Jay Havighurst,
has anounced the startup of a concert series, to be shot and produced
in his living room. D. Beemon will collaborate, hoping to contribute a
country-western song or two. Details forthcoming.
Several writing projects in the works, including a revival of the
aborted novel, "Jazz Diaries," which is a memoir of D. Beemon's
foray into the world of jazz drumming, as taught to him by Gary Chaffee,
among others not mentioned here, or in the book.
The novel, "Wild Hunt," is in the last stages of a first or second or third
or fourth draft. Samples soon to be shipped out en masse to the New York
literary agent pool, hoping for a blockbuster reception.
